Survive Alien Threats in SolarDrift's Sci-Fi Sandbox
Hi everyone, I'm Gábor Németh, a solo developer from Hungary working on my very first game.
Welcome to Solar Drift!
It's a sci-fi open-world survival sandbox where your journey back to Earth is entirely up to you. You are stranded near Pluto, while a relentless alien invasion is spreading outward from the Sun. Your ultimate goal is to reach home, but how you get there is your choice—there are no rules or forced paths, just you and the solar system.
What to expect in Solar Drift:
Base Building & Farming: Build a cozy shelter with a stunning view of the planets. Set up huge glass domes to grow crops and create a peaceful home in the dark vacuum of space.
Seamless Open World: The solar system moves dynamically, like clockwork. Travel smoothly between worlds without loading screens, trade with wandering survivors, and plan your flights when the planetary alignments are just right.
Mining & Exploration: Venture deep into dark caves or break apart giant asteroids. Mine ores, discover strange relics, and gather the essential resources you need to stay alive.
Crafting & Upgrades: Spend tech points to turn raw materials into useful gear. Upgrade your multitool, repair your spaceship, and unlock powerful base defenses.
Combat & Survival: Defend yourself against space pirates and the alien horde, whether you are fighting underground or out in space. Set up automated turrets to keep your base safe while you are out exploring.
